Dungeons & Dragons: Curse of Strahd Campaign - 8th April 2025

Outside the tavern, a fog lies across the town. The damp, cobbled pavement glistens as the lights of street lanterns dance across the slick stones. The night chills the bones and shivers the soul of anyone outside.

Yet inside these tavern walls the food is hearty, and the ale is warm and frothy. A fire blazes in the hearth, and the tavern is alive with the voices and laughter.

Suddenly, the tavern door swings open, and you all notice it at the same time. Framed by the lamp-lit fog, a form strides through the doorway. His brightly coloured clothes are draped in loose folds about him, and his hat hangs askew, hiding his eyes in shadows. Without hesitation, he walks up to your table and pulls from his tunic a sealed letter, addressed to all of you in beautiful flowing script. He drops the letter on the table and turns and leaves the tavern, vanishing into the fog.

‘Curse of Strahd’ is a D&D5E gothic horror campaign. It has everything you and your party needs to have a grand experience. It will take you to the mysterious village of Barovia, a realm surrounded by deadly fog and ruled by a wizard, the vampire Count Strahd von Zarovich, the master of Castle Ravenloft. ‘Curse of Strahd’ is a rich narrative story you are part of as it’s unfolding. It’s not just about fighting monsters and hunting for treasure in dungeons; there is a compelling story arc and a richly realized antagonist.

Suitable for new and experienced players, this campaign is run by Shane and will take place every second Tuesday. Characters begin at level 3 and will level up as the campaign progresses.

Disney Lorcana Archazia's Island Draft 8th April 2025

"At last, both halves of the crown belong to me!" Jafar

Draft format but make it Disney Lorcana! Players are given four Archazia's Island booster packs each. Everyone simultaneously opens a 12-card booster pack, selects a card from it, and adds it to their pool. You then pass the remaining 11 cards to the person on your left, take a card from the 11-card pack you received from the person on your right, and continue passing and picking until everyone has picked 12 cards, repeating for each pack. From the drafted cards, they build a 40-card deck using any number of different inks (rather than only two). Then you play 3 rounds with Swiss pairings.

Make sure to get your tickets quickly as the stock is restricted.

Adventures in Sandosa 9th April 2025

Welcome to Sandosa. A homebrew world of wide scope, a place where the wolves have an extra spark of cunning, where the dead don't always rest easily, and where the oceans are home to nameless horrors both large and small.

In this campaign, we will adventure to a sliver the largest area of Sandosa, the Xythur'quzian Divide (or simply "The Divide" to most). The Divide is so named for the fact that it bisects the world of Sandosa, creating hugely profitable trade routes in the far north and south, where the polar ices alternately freeze and thaw; few other options are available to cross the vast mountains that make up the spine of The Divide. Wedged between the huge tropical Xythur'quzian rainforest and the ocean known of as The Nammu Abysses, a small frontier town has been established by the distant westward kingdom of Taldea. West Harbour has existed for a mere handful of years, but already investment is being made in the town by Taldea. While Taldea's interests aren't overt, their intentions can be guessed, and will doubtless be guessed at by rival parties as well. You have found yourself on a ship, The "Tamar Dawn" after being offered cheap passage to West Harbour, perhaps lured by adventure, seduced by the rumour of ancient cities laden with treasure, or perhaps as an attempt to fade into obscurity after raising the ire of the wrong people.

This campaign is intended to be a player-driven campaign; I intend to give the group scenarios without an obvious right or wrong answer, and to let the results of your action (or inaction) determine the course of the overarching plot. Jungle, oceans, and tropical locations can all be expected, with the associated wildlife to boot.
